Meet The Band:
- Troy Allen (Vocals & Guitar)
Troy began his music career at the age of thirteen
when he joined the country band called “The
Country Drifters” in 1981. Once he graduated
from high school, he started his own classic rock
band called “Embassy”, which performed
throughout the state of Minnesota until 1999. The
band changed format slightly in 1999 and they renamed
the band to “Huge”, which joined forces
with the “Shane Allan Band” in 2003.
Troy is now managing the band as “American
Roadhouse” since 2004.
- Pat Domeier (Vocals & Bass
Guitar)
Pat grew up in Redwood Falls, MN where he started
playing at a young age thanks to his father who
was a musician himself. Pat and Troy went to the
same
high school and have played in the same bands together
for nineteen years. When you watch them play, you
can see that they are very much in tune with their
style of music. Pat is eager to entertain a crowd,
and show everyone just what he’s got!
- Troy
Wrucke (Vocals & Guitar)
Troy started his musical career in the early 90’s
when he formed the band called “Destination
Unknown”. They played all over rural Minnesota
for about 4 years when the band split up and was
renamed “Yoko Syndrome”. He continued
in the music scene doing recording session work and
as a sound engineer for a number of local Minnesota
bands. In 2000, Troy left the music scene due to
a family medical condition and joined Corporate America.
In the summer of 2008 the itch to play just had to
be scratched, and he started playing Solo Acoustic
Gigs. Troy is the newest member of American Roadhouse,
bringing with him some powerful vocals. We are pleased
to have him aboard!!
- Paul Raymond (Vocals & Lead
Guitar)
A lifelong resident of the Twin Cities, Paul has
been playing professionally since 1977. Paul is
a self taught guitarist, and in his formative years,
took piano and violin lessons. Bands Paul played
with in the 70's and 80's include Razz, Stinger,
General Admission, and Tight Squeeze. In the 90's,
the Wild Blue Cats and Crow, both of which performed
in local clubs and regional festivals. In 2002
Paul
signed on with "Molly Nova and the Hawk",
and won a MMA award for best blues recording in
2003. He has performed at the Taste of Minnesota,
Taste
of Cedar Rapids, Chicago Blues Fest, Bayfront Blues
Fest, and the Iowa A.B.A.T.E. Freedom Rally among
others. Highlights include performing as an opening
act for Buddy Guy, Molly Hatchet, Atlanta Rhythm
Section, Robin Trower, Pat Benatar, and Leon Russel.
Paul is a seasoned veteran, and a great addition
to American Roadhouse.
- Ron Szybatka (Vocals & Drums)
"The Groove Master" Ron lays down the
beat and gets the dance floor jumpin! Ron started
playing drums at age 13, and when he hit his late
teens he was playing bars and venues with several
popular Twin Cities bands. At age 17, Ron even
toured out west with a funk horn band. Ron left the Twin
Cities music scene completely in the 80's do to
a very serious medical condition with his son Jacob.
He had to concentrate completely on his family
and career. But in 2001, he gave in to pressure from
friends and family and in the years since, has
played for several local bands. Ron's credentials include
Pork Chop, and guest appearances with High Noon
and Mr. Winkie. We are happy to have added Ron to the
American Roadhouse family.
- Mark Amundson (Sound & Lights)
Mark is the sound and light technician as well as
technical consultant for the band. He works as an
electrical engineer for Honeywell and he’s
also the technical editor for Front Of House Magazine.
He often writes reviews for gear from top pro audio
companies like E/V, JBL, Fender, Peavey, etc. He’s
a licensed electrician so there’s no venue
that he can’t handle with regards to power
considerations. You can be assured that the technical
aspects of the show will go off without a hitch when
Mark is around. When he’s not pushing buttons
for the band on the weekends, he cares for his beautiful
horse farm in Cambridge, MN.
